South Coast Organizers is a professional organizing company based in Baton Rouge, LA and serving Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Lafayette, and surrounding areas. 

Sara was looking to outsource her marketing to someone who could guide her overall marketing strategy, who had a highly aesthetic design style that appealed to her target audience, and that understood her business intimately. She had a team member managing socials, but wanted to entrust the brand messaging to a marketing expert.

Sara and her team were posting regularly to her Instagram and Facebook accounts, but lacked an overall content marketing strategy. 

Although social media posts were consistent, engagement & account growth was not meeting Sara's expectations. 

Client had branding photos and an archive of content from previous organizing projects, but no time to craft thoughtful, strategic content on her own.

Goals

After assessing Sara's social media content, branding, messaging, and offer, we set the following goals:

  • Improve the quality of content, both visually and in messaging to reach & qualify leads.
  • Incorporate affiliate marketing (via LTK.it) to further serve audience by providing links to organizational products and add an additional revenue stream to the business.
  • Grow email list to prepare for upcoming launches.

Our strategy included the following, along with other proprietary information:

  • Define Sara's ideal client, identify keywords, clarify brand messaging & use a consistent visual identity
  • Decrease posting cadence to 3x per week on Instagram and Facebook to focus on content quality & messaging.
  • Optimize profile for conversion.

In addition, SoCo wanted to expand her ability to serve clients virtually--through affiliate links & consulting.  Through sharing links on social, and incorporating affiliate marketing into a newly launched offer, SoCo sold 152 items on Like to Know It from January to March 2024. 

Affiliate Marketing 

In three months, we were able to grow SoCo’s email list by +34 highly qualified, local subscribers. 

Email List Growth

Using trending & industry specific hashtags & keywords (in captions, on screen text in reels, & in carousel posts), we were able to reach non-followers & grow SoCo’s audience locally & beyond.

Hashtag & Keyword Strategy 

Through adjusting SoCo’s content & messaging and using clear and direct calls to action in copywriting, we were able to increase SoCo’s engagement by 27%. 

Instagram Engagement

With a combination of reels with trending audio, value add video content, hashtag strategy, and SEO/Keyword heavy carousel posts, we were able to increase SoCo’s reach by 145%.
